1st time in England

My first time in England coincided with my first Christmas. As you can see on the left, I had the honor of sitting at the head of the table for Xmas dinner!

I met many of my English relatives and mummy's friends and had the chance to explore mummy's home town, Twyford, and a bit of London too.

PS - Mummy and daddy were very pleased that I slept throughout their shopping sprees.

1st time in Portugal

I had my first flight at the age of 30 days! I behaved extremely well, not giving any hassle to mummy or daddy. The trip was to Porto in Portugal where we attended the wedding of one of daddy's cousins. The weather was beautiful.
It was also the first I saw the sea. Actually mummy made me touch the sand for the first time - real quality sand (at the beach), not sandpit sand, mind you...
Finally, you can see me with proud great-grandma.

Home at last!

This is me at home for the 1st time!

All those balloons, flowers and banner made me very sleepy, as you can see in the picture... by the way, thank you to all who sent me a welcome card or email!

Wow, I'm getting a passport

I am told I'll be getting a passport so that I can travel with mummy and daddy. I don't really understand why, since for nine months I went with them everywhere and it wasn't needed... these adults are definitely crazy! Anyway, this is the picture that will go in it. I thought I would look better in my natural state (i.e. crying) but they wouldn't accept it...

Chilling out

It's now been almost a day since I was born and I already start to feel a bit better. Daddy says I look like "a cute miniature Gollum" in the top picture, but I have no clue of what he means. I hope that's some kind of rock star, because that's how I feel with all this attention given to me. In the bottom picture you can see daddy & mummy celebrating my birth with a bit of champagne. They offered me some, but I refused since I am more of a vodka-orange kind of guy...
Anyway as promised some more info on my birth. I was born 8 days late, weighing 2,940 kg and 50 cm long. Apparently I was born "face up" rather than "face down", which is pretty unusual but hey, they never gave me any instructions... I also had the umbylical cord around my neck, and both things mean that I had a pretty tough birth (I came out a bit blue) and had to spend the night in an incubator so that I could be monitored and given a bit extra oxygen. Anyway today I feel much, much better, so they brought me to mummy's room, who by the way is doing very well.

Here I am! Girls, watch out.

Well, it was tough but here I am! I "popped out" on Tuesday Nov 8 at 6:07pm. I was very comfortable inside mummy's tummy and somehow I am out here now. Everything looks and sounds pretty different, but I am sure I will figure it out soon. I have more to tell you about my birth, but right now I just feel sooooooooo tired... maybe tomorrow.

It's cosy in here

I have been told I am a bit older than 3 months now (I wouldn't know, they haven't taught me how to count yet...). It also looks like I am a boy, whatever that means.

Things are pretty cosy in here, lot's of space to kick around. Pity there are no balls to practice, though. You can't trust an adult to organize anything, can you?
