My drawings

I continue to love to draw and my skills are improving....I like drawing people and I like to draw scenes around circus since our school circus trip. I am also using the ruler a lot and wanting to write text with some help on the spelling.Here are two examples that are now hanging on our fridge in the kitchen.

Sunny weekend with cousin

What a turn out for the weather for our long weekend in Belgium. Tia, Tio and Rodrigo are visiting. We went to Planckendael (zoo, live animals), Toy museum in Mechelen, Walibi and Aqualibi (my favourite rite are the roller coasters ladybird and mine + water slides) and African Museum and Tervuren Park (dead animals and loads in a new exhibition in the basement). I helped Rodrigo in and out of the cars in Walibi, well I kind of helped. Loved to run around with and after Rodrigo. Here are lots of smiley faces. I am also eating three of my favourite foods - bread, pizza and (just eaten, so can not see) spaghetti bolognaise.

my first trip away from home with school

I went away for 2 nights and 3 days with the school with no mamã and papá (nor grandparents, aunts/unclses). Can you believe it, at 6.5 yrs old? I slept on the top bed and Anaël bottom bed. The boys all slept together. We made our breakfast - chocolate and milk (?!). We did circus activities - hence my comical face.

Mother's Day

It's mamã's day and I've made lots of things at school - I have grown some herbs, made a card with hearts and a story inside + photo, I've made a box with cakes inside and a decorative bag and envelope. Mamã was very surprised and very happy - got loads of cuddles and kisses :-). Mamã says she is also lucky as we celebrated 3 times this year - english in march, portuguese last week Sunday and now the belgium one today :-)

School Fête

Our yearly school fête and this year we had multiple days of sports activities - I throw javelin 7 m, shotput 4 m, ran 400 metres, did long jump (starting from stationary position) 1m.
at the school fête we had a list of activities and needed to do at least 10 including 'sack' race. Here I am with papá. The weather was not so good but we live so close we wait home in between and watched "Hugo" on DVD (a very good film, i think more for my mamã and papá). We returned late for the barbecue and listened to the two bands of school kids and 1 of adults. I had a good sleep that night :-)

2nd Tooth

At last after a couple of weeks my 2nd tooth fell out....this time I ate it with easter chocolate. Mamã and I heard a big crunch and then that was it :-) Tooth fairy still came and now I am half way to buying a playmobil figure. Do you think I look smart in my clothes until you see the ugly face expression to show off my missing tooth!

Bath time

Yep, once I am in the bath, I have loads of fun, especially when the bubbles are overflowing :-)

Measurements

I am still 24.5 kg and now taller than 120 cm so I got into most of the Walibi rides already in August :-). My hair is mousy blonde, my eyes brown. I have long eyelashes :-) I am not fat and not overthin, even if I love to eat and eat.

My castle bed

I have a new special bed and it is my castle...I am very happy with my new home - I sleep on top and I play underneath. I peer through the 'walls' for my bedtime stories and I can close my fortress walls to keep other people out :-)

I am also learning to write letters and words. I copy but I can already count and write 0-9 without any help (taught by my grandma). Here I am writing "dog, cat, leaf, water" with my mamã while papá is on an aeroplane to Dammam...

My 4th Birthday

It is my 4th Birthday - I made my own hat cutting out the crown and orange circles and sticking them onto the hat and also writing 4. I love pirates so I had birthday pirate cards, pirate chocolate cake, pirate puzzle but also loads of very nice presents that filled the house - even a Bob the Builder kit. Thank you everyone.

First Day at School

Here I am returning from my first day at school with bags in tow and most important a biscuit in my hand :-). My school is called "La Fermette" and it is only 500 m from our home. My teacher is called Geraldine and we are a class of 3 year olds mixed with a class of 4. I have my morning snack at 10 am where I put my snack box when I arrive at school into a box called Poussines. I will have lunch at school (first week nothing...). I start at 8.30 am and I started to settle down in the class when at 3.30 pm I was sent to meet other people and a mix of children tall and big (older I think than me!?). Every morning I hang my coat under my name and after ensuring Mamã or Papá put my snack in the right place we sit down in the class room for a story. There is painting, puzzles and many things. I go to the gym on a Wednesday with Jean-Claude as our driver. The best is playing in the sandpit after 3.30 pm when the sun is out...

Eating Ice Cream

The sun is shining in brussels so I can use "Tiago's swimming pool" again AND eat ice cream...yummmmmmmy. My favourite word is "chocolate". I am speaking much more and using Mamã's language and Papá's language.

Fun activities - Piscina Swimming Pool

Yes, I have my "own" swimming pool - I call it "Tiago's piscina". It's loads of fun - bouncy castle, slide, cannon firing, horn and the best part the water - yeepeeeeeeee. I slide down, I jump and jump... I am going every day as the sun is shining.

Then I like to have my "sumo"/juice...look at mu cute smile still.

Finger paints - what a mess

It is great when I can make a big mess and not be told "no", "stop". Yeepeeee. I think it is more fun to put my whole hand in the paint than just my fingers. I have started autographing my creations and am ready to sell to the highest bidder :-)

Who wants a bath?

Do you like my hair do? I am getting much more hair...it's thicker but fine and pretty much none existent. It's curly and mouse brown colour. Papã still cuts it...so dutch style I have cheap haircuts...(what's dutch style - my hairdo!?). I like my baths and I will soon want to soap myself...luckily my parents company invented this soapy product where I can squeeze and squeeze and the liquid soap pours out and out.
