Searching for snow

Yes we found the snow at 650 metres at Baraque de Fraiture - one of the high points of Belgium.
We first stopped in Auberge de Carrefour for a croque monsieur and waffle. Can you see the cool boar in the picture?
Then we put on all our gear for the snow. I immediately went diving and jumping on the floor..yep some areas were just slush and mud. We did find cms of snow. I enjoyed sledging, making a snowman, constructing slopes for more sledging. We had a family snowball fight too. I love picking up snow as I walk along the path as it's the best snow I've seen.
We stopped in Liege and saw the Dali statue in front of the high speed train railway.

Carnival and Portugal

February carnival week we went to Portugal. All the family joined us in Óbidos. We met Jenn, Philippe, Florian and Audrey at the Torres Vedra Carnival and they came to stay too for a few days. We had pizza, went bowling, relaxed, played games, watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy in our attic cinema, walked on the beach, I was the tour guide in the city walls of Óbidos etc

Christmas

We had so much fun over Christmas - enjoyed presents, eating, playing cards, visitors, went for lovely lunch in Cookham and visited Stanley Spencer art museum. THANK YOU EVERYONE, especially Grandma and Ti'pah.

I have my own waffle maker :-), cricket set, star wars games/clothes/headphones/sweets...
and I got my dream present - iPOD, thank you vovó e vovô.

Ferrari

Mamã and I went to Grandma and Ti'pah's house as soon as school term finished. We went with the car and had a very smooth trip. We managed to cross with the Eurotunnel before it closed for the day and night.
G&T had arranged for a surprise - I visited the Ferrari factory - the only factory outside Italy. I loved it. I took loads of pictures, sat in the cars...and saw Lamborgini, my favouriteTHANK YOU Bob and G&T.

Star Wars - The Force Awakens

Star Wars Episode 7 - The Force Awakens - yes, it was great. We saw it in Antwerp on Saturday after being released on the Thursday. I had rewatched all the earlier episodes. This one was good. Here is my drawing - do you see the aircraft...

Xmas tree and School play

Decorated the Christmas tree with mamã. It looks lovely!!! We have kept the last piece, the star, for papá's return from Asia.
Grandma and Ti'pah came specially to see me in the play at school - a special event for Grandparents. I did two parts = jokes. -> the boy and father and playing lotto vs homework scores.

After the show, I brought them loads of yummy food - chocolate mouse, fruit salad, cake with sweets on top, cocktails...Thank you for coming.
